ABOUT JOLYNE

My love for design began at an early age. Inspired by my father, a talented master craftsman, I developed a thorough understanding of timeless design, custom furniture, textiles and the construction of fine crafted furnishings. Working in my parent’s custom furniture business, allowed me to learn firsthand how to apply functionality and creativity to interior design. 

In the past fifteen years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with many talented architects and designers in the industry. For eleven years, I managed a European kitchen showroom in San Diego. This experience sharpened my skills and expanded my knowlede on the intricacies of  modern kitchen and bath design for residential interiors and multifamily projects. Combining my kowledge and experiences led me to form what is now known as Design and Conquer, a design studio.

In my spare time I love to travel. My favorite countries to vist are Spain and Italy and I absolutely love Mexico City! When I’m not at work or traveling, you can find me in the San Diego area hiking or walking with Marlon Brando, my three- year old Wheaten Terrier.
